Expanding Horizons
Spring 2025 date TBD
Undergraduate research provides the unique opportunity for motivated students to take their college learning experience beyond the ordinary. They are able to expand their personal and educational horizons to achieve a deeper and broader understanding of their academic major and their chosen professional field.
Wittenberg鈥檚 Undergraduate Research Symposium is hosted by the University Honors Program and is intended to bring together undergraduate students from the region to share their passion for excellence in research, learning and growth.
Symposium Goals:
- Bring together undergraduate students doing Honors level research and scholarly or creative projects to share their work in a semi-professional, conference-type environment
- Give students the opportunity to express the results of the significant time and effort they have spent on these projects
- Recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of these highly motivated and talented students on a bigger stage
- Facilitate interaction and networking between students in their fields of study with others who will potentially become their professional peers
